Prof. José Carlos Cabaleiro Domínguez

Jose Carlos is a Full Professor in the area of Computer Architecture at the University of Santiago de Compostela. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in 1989 and his PhD in 1994, both in Physics and from the same university.

Throughout his research career, he has worked in the area of high-performance computing, specifically in the development of parallel algorithms for clusters and supercomputers, performance optimization and memory hierarchy utilization in irregular problems, prediction, modeling, and improvement of parallel application performance, efficient algorithms for LiDAR data processing, among other topics. He has published more than 45 articles in indexed journals and more than 60 contributions in international conferences.

He has coordinated and participated in various national and international research projects and contracts with companies, and has supervised eleven doctoral theses.
