Prof. Francisco Manuel Fernández Rivera

Francisco is a Full Professor of Computer Architecture at the University of Santiago de Compostela. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in 1986 and his doctorate in 1990, both in Physics and from the same university.

Throughout his career, he has conducted research and extensively published in the areas of computational applications, parallel processing, and computer architecture.

In particular, he has published over 70 articles in international journals and more than 90 contributions in conferences. He has coordinated nine national and international research projects, participated as a researcher in 23 others, and supervised eight doctoral theses.
